CMG has the rare distinction of having achieved recognition in the Country, Tanzania, in many spheres of Life, after having hailed from a modest background.

He is well known for his achievements in Business, Social Welfare and Public Relationship. CMG has and holds the Chairmanship of many Government and Private Boards in Tanzania.

CMG’s strength is understanding what works and what doesn’t...He shifted his base out of his native Bukenye, Tarime to establish NBCL in Mwanza for a couple of decades and has been an integral part of the Organizational growth in both Planning and Execution.

He has now established CMG public welfare trust to contribute more to community services.

Jayesh Shah has built and managed businesses in East Africa for 34 years. Having twice been awarded "Top 15 most respected CEOs in East Africa" by PwC, he is also a Chairman of the Board of Mayfair Insurance Tanzania, a Board member of Management & Development for Health (MDH), and 1st Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries.

Ankush holds a first-class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Balliol College, University of Oxford and an MSc from the London School of Economics. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He started his career working in M&A and financing at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, after which he worked (latterly as a partner) managing event-driven and risk arbitrage strategies in the London office of Gruss & Company, a $2.5bn AUM hedge fund. He is chairman of the Tanzania Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organisation.
